About the:

Fireside Sessions

These Fireside Sessions  aim to offer a space for all to gather around the Salisbury Centre fire and enjoy exquisite music, songs and hamonies.

These sessions also offer an opportunity to share the power of offering Music as part of a Prayer, Ritual, Ceremony or whatever you might call it to:

  • Nurture our Soul, Mind & Body through sitting in a circle around a central Fire

  • Build & strengthen community in a safe space to simply BE, receive nourishing music and sing together

  • Share meaningful and inspiring music, songs, poems, quotes, sacred texts, writing, life-stories, dances

  • Witness and be witnessed in our sharing, to build solidarity and heart-connection (and enjoy! )

  • Reignite the ancient ways of sharing a ritual space, as well as share cross-cultural indigenous wisdom

  • Connect to and acknowledge the mystical side of life, THAT which is ungraspable to the mind and which can enable us to re-connect to the flow and Magic of life.

Sacred Fire

In these sessions the sacred Fire will be a central focus of the gathering and there will be opportunity to learn about Firekeeping as a way to hold powerful intentional spaces around fires

  • for those interested about learning about Firekeeping – Please check out this 4 Weeks – Firekeeping Training (happening on same day/dates from 18:00-20:00)

  • Each Fireside session will be an opportunity for trainee Firekeepers to practice what they learn in the training sessions

The Fire can be seen as a portal where, with focussed intention, we can send intention and receive from our ancestors who have prayed, sang, danced in that fire before us.

About the Host:

Fireside Sessions

Francesco Benvenuti is a firekeeper, ceremonialist, and community weaver committed to bridging spiritual practice with grounded community action. Rooted in a background of ecological science, global activism, and indigenous-inspired ceremonial work, he has spent over a decade facilitating sacred fire circles, ceremonies, voice workshops, and land-based rituals across Europe and the Americas.

He is the founder of the Oak Ash & Thorn Hub in Roslin and the Living Fire Collective—initiatives that support the rise of resilient spiritual hubs, trained firekeepers, and a trusted network of stewards carrying the Sacred Fire into the heart of culture, honouring ancient practices and rooting in sacred reciprocity laws. His work weaves together Georgian polyphony, devotional chanting, men’s spaces, and seasonal celebration, reconnecting people to voice, nature, and purpose. Francesco Benvenuti will host  these sessions, sometime sharing his prayer songs, as well as inviting guests musicians and working with trainee Firekeepers to care for the central Fire.
