Join us for Samhain celebration on 1st November as we bid our farewells to Summer and welcome in Winter. Samhain marks the end and the beginning of the Celtic New Year, affirming rebirth in the midst of death and darkness. With your help, and in sharing food, songs, prayers and offerings around the sacred fire we are hoping to bring forth values of empathy, kindness and community in these troubling times.
Please refer below to the timetable of events happening on the day. Our community celebration works as a drop-in space, whereas workshop spaces will have to be booked in advance.
12:00-15:00
This Samhain, we’re bringing warmth from the inside, as well as warmth from the outside in these colder times. We will do so by making heart-and-soul-warming pumpkin soup, courgette bread, and any other seasonal dishes. Please bring your beloved recipes, some seasonal vegetables and let’s make and enjoy a warm meal together! We will infuse this meal with intentions we will set on the day, and season it with songs, poems and rituals shared around the sacred fire.
Personal Resolve 10:00-12:00
Sacred Ciorcals 15:00-17:00
Seasonal Sadhana Hatha Yoga with Hazel 17:30-19:30
