Creative Connections – A Healing Journey is a group exhibition of artworks created by women connected to the Salisbury Centre and participants of the Women Healing Art Circle, a monthly community programme held at The Salisbury Centre since September 2024.
This exhibition explores themes of identity, personal growth, resilience, and collective healing. Through painting, drawing, photography and mixed media, each piece offers a glimpse into a unique personal story, while also resonating with the universal experience of womanhood and transformation.
These works are not only individual expressions but part of a larger tapestry woven through connection, reflection, and the power of shared creativity. The exhibition invites viewers to witness and honour the journeys of these artists and to reflect on the potential of art as a path to healing and empowerment.
This is the first time many of the participants are exhibiting their work — we are honoured to share this with you.
The Circle is a monthly creative gathering for women, facilitated by Gabriella, with support from Bianca. It offers a gentle and welcoming space to explore art as a tool for healing, reflection, and connection. No artistic experience is needed – just a willingness to express, create, and be present.
Since it began in Autumn 2024, the Circle has grown into a supportive community rooted in authenticity, curiosity, and shared experience. This exhibition is a celebration of that community and the creative courage of all those involved.
