About the Event:

It is believed Numerology started with the brilliant Greek mathematician, Pythagoras, over
2,500 years ago. In this fascinating ancient system, you will learn how important numbers in
our lives, such as our date of birth, influence not only our identity and purpose, but our days,
months, and years. Based on the numbers one to nine, and using the Western system type
rather than the even older Chaldean system, our course will cover the meaning of each of
the numbers and how they affect our lives day to day. Each of the nine numbers is equally
unique, none being more important than another.

Our course, Numerology: A Guide for Life, has three sessions, spaced at fortnightly intervals
to give some assimilation time. In Week One, we will learn about our seven Core Numbers,
and how to calculate our Life Path number which is the most important one in our lives. In
Week Two, we will practise calculating our own Personal Year, Month and Day numbers and
be able to apply them daily to the following fortnight. In Week Three, we will look at Master
numbers, the Major Life Cycles and our Pinnacles and Challenges. These help us
understand the patterns in our journeys thus far, and help us prepare for the possible
timelines to come.

Throughout the course we will be gathering information so participants should bring a small
notebook and pen. I will try to source a small guidebook for those who would like to
purchase one.

Numerology is a very effective personal development tool. It will help you understand
yourself and others so you can have better relationships and a happy peaceful life.

About the Facilitator:

Gail Burton is an educator with an M.Ed. (OU) in Leadership and Management. She also is
an experienced facilitator, having done more than 12,000 workshops, especially in the
careers advice area in Canada. At present, she is enjoying running her business, Bridges
Unlimited, offering a range of Voyages to Self-Discovery courses, coaching and talks. These
are designed to help people find out who they are and how to have a life they truly enjoy.
“I have been using Numerology in my life for over 30 years and love to share its usefulness
with others. It was handed down to me, along with Chinese Astrology, by my brother who
was taught by his Chinese T’ai Chi leacher. It is so significant, I find, that I see its relevance,
not only year to year, but in each and every day. It brings me joy to share this with as many
people as possible.”

About Donations:

Participation in our community-led events is on a voluntary ‘by donation’ basis. This means that nobody is expected to make a payment if they cannot afford to do so.

Any donations received will be shared between the Centre and the facilitator, helping to make the events’ programme sustainable as well as to provide some reciprocity towards community facilitators’ time and skills offered.

Where a “suggested donation” is listed, this is just an indication of what the event might cost if it was ticketed.

This is an invitation to practice ‘Dana’ (generosity) – please pay only what you can afford to attend.
