Join the Salisbury Centre Seed Library team for one of our regular Seedy Socials!
A time to collectively tend to the seed library and learn about the practical elements of looking after a seed collection, growing from seed to seed and urban community seed saving. All tools are provided, no experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome 🌞
This month we will start sorting, labeling and packaging seeds to restock the library.
- connect with other seed borrowers and growers
- drop in and pick up or donate some seeds
- spend a morning in our seed library learning together about our seed crops and how to store seeds well for the winter
If you’d like to get your hands in the soil for the practical things out in the garden, please come dressed according to the weather. You are welcome to stay on to join the free bring and share community lunch at 1pm and join the gardening until 4pm.
